The Fizzooka is a custom rocket launcher, powered by the most explosive reaction on earth: Mentos + Cola. In collaboration with Mentos, we brought the concept of the Fizzooka to life inside the well known multiplayer shooter game Fortnite. With a combined audience of over a million players per day, we worked alongside Metavision and individual map creators to ensure that the Fizzooka offered gamers a fresh alternative to their usual arsenal, that was both fun to play with and effective.
As the first branded tactical item to be released in Fortnite Creative, we launched a global campaign to amplify the Fizzooka release through local influencers and across social activations. To support the launch we crafted a brand identity, centered around the iconic explosive Mentos dragee, and driven by a distinctive design system.
My role on the project involved bringing the branding to life through 3D assets, and creating social and OOH activations in the lead up to the launch.
